About Brick Me

Everything you wanted to know about Brick Me

Brick who?

Brick Me was born in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic. Stuck at home, we were thinking about new ways to pass the time. It’s not that there was nothing to do (it’s 2020, we’re subscribed to at least 5 streaming services), but we’re creative people... we need to create!

What a bricking idea!

Honestly, we’re not the first to come up with turning photos into brick mosaics. A quick Google search will tell you that. But nothing we could find was good enough. Either you need to download complicated software, or you need to source the bricks yourself, or you need to get someone else to do your design. No one offered a simple app that let’s you design your own brick mosaic, and then order it as a kit with parts and instructions.

If you want to brick, brick. Don’t talk.

So we started working. Laying the foundations of our vision, brick by brick (haha, sorry). We imagined an app that is simple, fun, and full of possibilities. Tons of colours to choose from. Easy and free to share on social media. We wanted to be bricking the limits! (ok we’re not sorry).

A house is made of bricks, a home is made of people.

So what makes us who we are? What are we about? Though mere words cannot define us, we can sum it up in 3 points:

  1. Fun
  2. Creative
  3. Responsible

Wait, responsible? What the brick?

Yes. Our bricks are made of plastic and we sure wish we could use less of that (we tried plant-based bricks but we ended up eating them. Damn those delicious square nibbles). That is why we created our “No Brick Left Behind!” program. If you buy a Brick Me Kit you’re gonna be left with lots of extra bricks. We will pay for a return delivery for all those bricks so we can find them a new home😊. And in case you were wondering, no, we don’t profit from this. Delivery and restocking cost us more than the bricks.

To brick, or not to brick? That is the question.

We hope we answered some of your questions. If we didn't, reach out and let us know. You won’t be talking to a brick wall!
